Former Pilot Runners Place in Collegiate Conference Championships


Wildcats earn All-HAAC accolades

Lamoni, Iowa – The Culver-Stockton College men’s track team had four student-athletes and one relay team earn all-conference honors at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Indoor Championships at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, Saturday afternoon. Fulton County, KY graduate LaDrekus Moffatt earned all-conference when his 4x400m Relay team placed 3rd in a time of 3:26.85. Moffatt’s teammates in the relay were Wesley Schmidgall (Eureka, Il), Marcus Barnett (St. Louis, Mo), and Tyler Buckman (Monroe City, Mo). Fellow Hickman native, Chaz Dial placed 4th in the Long Jump for the Wildcats with a leap of 21-11.75 and placed 8th in the 200m Dash with a time of 23.50. In the team competition, the Wildcats placed fifth in the conference.

Steve lives in Fulton with his wife and one son. In 2010, he graduated from Eastern New Mexico University . Now, he writes software and gadget reviews and sport news for the team. During his free time, Steve coaches baseball to junior high school boys.
