Two Hickman residents die in early morning accident


Two residents of Hickman, Kentucky were killed in a single vehicle accident at 3:30 a.m. Friday morning.

According to Kentucky State Police, Willie Hagler, 34, of Hickman, was driving a 1993 GMC southbound on KY 125 when he crossed into the northbound lane, striking a sign post.

He then crossed back over into the southbound lane, where he ran off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle then overturned onto its side and struck a tree.

Seventeen year old Jalissa N. Kinney, of Hickman was also killed. Both subjects were pronounced dead on the scene by Fulton County Coroner Matt Moss. Neither occupant of the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt. Trooper Jason Clark is investigating the accident.

Clark was assisted on the scene by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, Fulton County EMS and Rescue, and the Fulton County Coroner.
