Golf carts stolen; reward offered

A reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who stole two EZGO golf carts from ABS Golf Cars in the early morning hours of April 21.

“We’re offering $1,000, plus a $500 bonus if they are caught and convicted within 30 days,” said Krystal Woods.

ABS is located at 1710 West J.M. Bailey Highway, across from the Eufaula Elementary School.

An image of one of the suspects was captured on a surveillance video.

Woods said she believes at least two people, perhaps more, were involved in the theft which took place between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m.

One golf cart is black and orange and one is blue and white. Both 4-S series cars are valued at $8,600, Woods said.

Evidence has been turned over to the Eufaula Police Department.
