New Mexico:
Chris’ Sunday Forecast

It is going to be another afternoon of scattered rain and storms for New Mexico today.   A trough of low pressure continues to sit over the region and this is giving New Mexico the chance for regular rounds of rain each day this weekend.   Southeast New Mexico woke up to leftover rain this morning and after a brief break later this morning, storms will redevelop across the higher terrain.   The central mountain chain and eastern New Mexico will be favored for most of the rain and storm activity today with spot storms across western New Mexico.   Albuquerque and Santa Fe will have another shot of rain by the afternoon and early evening once again.   Showers and storms will continue for Monday and Tuesday along with cooler than normal temperatures to begin the week.  The rain activity will taper some by mid to late week with rain chances increasing again by Labor Day.
