He wore orange mesh shorts as opposed to the pants and leg pads his teammates wore."I thought it went well," coach John Fox said. "Our training staff felt he did well. We’ll see how he feels overnight, tomorrow, but it was encouraging to see him out there running routes.”Fox called Jeffery's status “day to day” since the injury, partly to keep the Packers in the dark about his availability for Sunday’s game. Jeffery, meanwhile, dismissed any speculation that his cautious approach to his recovery stemmed from the fact his contract expires at the end of this season. He called that: "Totally not true.""My contract situation got nothing to do with it," he said. "That will take care of itself. I wasn’t practicing because I was injured."
