North Korea denies sending chemical weapons to Syria

Friday, North Korea said it is not providing material and personnel to Syria to help you develop chemical weapons.

This statement comes after that, last week, The New York Times referred to a report of the United Nations panel in which this statement was made.

Then, state media in North Korea accused the US of being the first to use chemical weapons and munitions used to kill biochemical nearly 50,000 people during the Korean War between 1950 and 1953.

"As elucidated several times, (North Korea) does not have a single record development, production and stockpiling of chemical weapons, and opposes such chemical weapons," the state news agency KCNA, quoting a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
